Montessori class
Zainab Jun and Mino Jun
Do you remember the needlework, the dinosaur book, the play floor, the zip frame, the oiling of the wooden bear, and the playing bank? I was telling you about Montessori. The same class where everyone did an activity for themselves. One was building a pink tower and the other was learning numerology. The teacher of this class would slowly come next to us and teach us a new activity or ring the bell so that we can go to the basket of animals and play with them. In this class, everyone should speak in a low voice and walk slowly.

Music class

In the music class every week, uncle Tanha would gather the children around him with the famous poem “Salaam Salaam Ai Bachahaaaaa” and after saying hello and greeting and playing some movement games, we would start the musical activities. Each of the children sat behind their Xylophone, we repeated the poems and notes of the previous week and then started teaching new notes. Uncle’s magical method of teaching notes was well-seen by everyone.

It is interesting that even though Uncle Tanha’s method was completely non-memorization, children remember poems and notes well, and when they focused on a part of the note for more practice, a happy voice was heard from a corner of the class saying: Uncle Tanha, I understood. How do they play the next part of the song and then started working.

Movement games

Some days, when we entered Solaleh, the sound of children’s happiness and excitement attracted us, and when we heard these sounds, we wanted to know what is going on there. We would quickly climb the stairs and follow the sound of Tombak to the next classroom, open the classroom, and get overwhelmed by the wave of happiness and excitement…

Uncle Saeed and Uncle Mehdi were playing with our friends in class. We used to play interesting games such as Alkam o Dulkam, Mouse Tail, etc., and we used to do all kinds of activities with balls and hula hoops. Uncle Saeed always had a percussion instrument called Tombek with him, which with his twined hands beautifully played for us. He played and this beautiful sound made our games sweeter. We experienced beautiful moments in this class

Creative performance class

We used to experience very interesting games in the performance class, such as pantomime, rhythmic movements, acting exercises, etc., all of them were a series of games that we worked on together in the creative performance class. In this class, we learned how to develop our imagination and travel to different worlds with imagination and creativity, such as traveling to space, traveling to the world of toys, etc. We were able to strengthen our creativity here and by doing Teamwork to have beautiful results from our exercises. Our goal was to perform group work with each other’s cooperation in the form of a show without tools. In this class, we were free to give wings to our imaginations and fly anywhere near and far in our dreams, sometimes we went to the depths of the seas and sometimes we stretched to the top of the sky and on the soft and cool clouds. We were going towards… …

Art

Yellow, red, and blue, were our childhood dreams and thoughts made and we shaped them … we made strange animals and people. We used to go to different colors and mix them and make new colors. We drew interesting paintings and works of art with our hands, feet, fingers, and sometimes brushes. We made sculptures and mysterious crafts. The interesting thing was that Afsun Jun, our art teacher, spoke to us in English throughout the class, and we tried our best to understand what they meant.

phonetics

In this class, our ears were sharper than ever and our tongues were more ready to speak!

“Ch” is the first of which words? When questions like this were raised, we all tried to think and find the answer, “Ch” is the first chair, cheese, chicken, and….! “D” is the first of which words? Dall, Duck, Drama! That day we learned the letter “D” and found the word Dall, a Dall came to our class and was waiting to be played and we wanted to play with it. So it seemed that it was time to go to the next word “P”. “P” is the first of which words?

Jaragheh (Spark)

In Jaragheh’s class, every week we were introduced to an event or a scientific topic and examined it with all our senses. Once we saw a plant and classified its parts. Sometimes we got to know the parts of the human body and traveled to different parts of our body, visited our bones, stomach, and teeth, and did a little research. Not to mention our experiments, we experienced interesting and new things from the combination of some materials, which sometimes made our eyes widen in surprise, this class was a time for big and small sparks in our minds!!!

Mother and child camp

Children’s laughter and maternal love! Children’s play and maternal pleasure! Warm and sincere friendships! The sound of birds singing…

One day we decided to attend a program so that children can spend a few hours in nature with their mothers. On this occasion, we chose a day to go camping. The promised day arrived; the sun was doing its best to provide pleasant weather for this special day. Our destination was the lower door of Jamshidiyeh Park. When everyone gathered in front of the door, after a greeting, we started our journey. We climbed the mountain. The children were excited to see the river that flowed from the mountain. We decided to put our hands and feet in the water. We crossed the trunk of a tree in the middle of the river and went to the other side of the river. We touched the water with all our being. We threw the stones into the water one by one and enjoyed the sound and movement. We played with our friends and had indescribable pleasure from the cool touch of the water on our feet. We decided to sit there. We touched the leaves and read books together. The sound of water had become the music of our storytelling. After playing and listening to stories, we ate some food and took a short break to record the memory of that day in our minds.
